Just a Bath - no grooming needed
This includes a bath with soothing oatmeal shampoo & silk cream conditioner, hand blow dry the coat, a good brushing, clean out the ears, and sand the nails down with the Dremel tool. This is typically for short hair dogs like Chihuahua, Boxer, Pitbull, Great Dane etc. We do offer a discounts if you only want your dog towel dried.

Bath & A Tidy Trim
This includes a bath with soothing oatmeal shampoo & silk cream conditioner, hand blow dry the coat, a good brushing to include brushing/cutting out a few mats, clean out the ears, remove ear hair (if needed), sand the nails down with the Dremel tool, optional sanitary trim of private areas, the paws/pads of feet & the face. This is for medium or long hair dogs like Pomeranian, Collie, or German Shephard, that don't require much grooming.

These are additional fees to the grooming services listed above. These prices vary depending on the size of your dog and the condition of their coat.
De-Shedding Treatment
additional $50+
This is a special Furminator shampoo and conditioner we use that helps to release the undercoat when we blow dry and brush your dog. This is a great add on for dogs who are blowing their under coat. Additional price depends on the size of your dog.
Severely Matted Dog Shave Down
additional $50+
If your dog is matted to the skin and requires a full shave down we do charge an additional fee for this as it takes more time to shave down a dog whose coat is matted to the skin. I will give you an exact price once I inspect your dogs coat.
Nail Trim for an additional dog
$20
If I'm coming out and you have another dog that just needs their nails done while I'm already at your house I can do that for an additional $20.
Skunk Treatment
additional $100+
If your dog gets sprayed by a skunk we will be happy to book an after hours same day -or- next day appointment and come wash your dog with our skunk shampoo. Please note that this shampoo does help with the smell, however nothing but time will completely get rid of the skunk smell. This fee is for the special shampoo treatment and the after hours appointment fee.
Flea and Tick Shampoo Treatment
additional $25
This is a special flea & tick shampoo that effectively kills fleas, ticks & lice and provides resistance to infesting insects with results that lasts up to two weeks. This treatments also includes removal of up to 5 ticks (any more than that and it moves to an infested dog treatment).
Tick Removal of Infested Dog
additional $50+
This treatment includes the removal of ticks on your dog and then a bath with our flea and tick shampoo. This treatment price varies depending on how infested your dog is with TICKS as it takes time to remove them. I often don't realize your dog is infested with ticks until I am actually shaving or blow drying your dog. If I come across an infestation while doing a standard groom I will call you and we will discuss this treatment.
About The Sudsy Dogmobile
How The Sudsy Dogmobile Works
- I drive to your home with my mobile dog grooming trailer and come in to meet you and your dog. We chat about what you want done and I do a quick assessment of your dog. I then walk your dog out to be groomed.
- Everything I need is in my trailer including warm water and heat/AC. The only thing I need is access to an electrical outlet, but I am able to bring my quiet generator if you don't have an outlet nearby.
- I work with 1 dog at a time in my trailer. We do not use kennels or have other dogs in the area to decrease anxiety in your dog.
- I hand blow dry each dog, we do not use forced air kennels. Hand blow drying lowers stress as we can avoid blowing air directly into your pups face and ears.
- When they are finished I walk them right back to your door so they don't have to sit in a kennel waiting to be picked up for hours.
- Most dogs are groomed in just 1-2 hours.
- All of these things limit the stress for your dog. Grooming is not the most natural thing for a lot of dogs, so limiting the stress level is very important. My goal is to provide as low stress environment for your Furry friend as possible. I will never do anything that overly stresses your dog out. If they don't like the blow dryer on their face I will only towel dry their face. If they hate the Dremel tool I will just clip their nails with a regular clipper. I can also work up to some of these things over time by building trust with them.
- Occasionally I get a dog that is just too stressed out to be groomed - in these cases I highly recommend talking to your vet about medication to calm them down for grooming. You can also try giving your dog supplements like kava kava or Rescue Remedy to calm them down before grooming (please check with your vet first before giving your dog any supplements).
- This less stress grooming is ideal for elderly dogs, dogs with medical issues, dogs that get stressed out by other dogs, lots of noise, or car rides, or anyone who just wants a better experience for their furry friends.

My name is Joe, and I was a mobile dog groomer in Colorado from 2009 to 2015 before deciding to embark on a new adventure with my family. After leaving Colorado, my wife and I launched Flashburn Designs, a decorative metal wall art and sign business. Recently, I decided to revive our mobile dog grooming business, while Kristy continues to manage Flashburn Designs. You can check out some of our metal art at www.flashburndesigns.com. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, fishing, hiking, camping, exploring new areas, shooting, playing video games, napping with my dogs Luna, Oreo & Poke, or playing with our chickens!
Our Cancelation Policy
- I will happily cancel or reschedule your appointment with no fee if you give me at least 24 hours notice.
- If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours but before I drive to your home I charge a $25 fee you must pay to reschedule.
- If I drive to your location and you're not home I charge a $60 fee you must pay to reschedule.
- If you cancel on me twice in a row without notice I charge a $150 fee that will be paid via pay pal or credit card before I will schedule another appointment for you.
- If you are a regular customer and there is a true emergency I will waive the fee for your first cancelation.
FAQ
What are your business hours?
I usually schedule appointments between 10am-5pm Monday through Friday.
I am happy to schedule weekend or evening appointments upon request.
I also offer same day/next day after hour emergency services for a fee.
How often should I groom my dog?
I recommend getting your dog groomed every 6 weeks. However some people prefer every 3-4 weeks and some prefer every 8 weeks.
Getting your dog on a regular grooming schedule ensures that your furry friend's coat remains clean, healthy, and free from matting plus it keeps your dogs nails at the proper length and their ears clean to help reduce the risk of common but preventable maladies.
A regular schedule will also guarantee you have a spot during the busy holiday seasons.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated to be groomed?
Yes and No. You are responsible for ensuring that your dog is up to date on state required vaccinations. However, we do not require any further vaccines to groom your dog. Since we offer 1 on 1 grooming they won't come into contact with other dogs and we sanitize our grooming trailer in between every appointment so they won't be at high risk of contracting commonly spread diseases.
If you want to be extra safe you are of course welcome to vaccinate with the following additional vaccinations: distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza adenovirus type 2, parvovirus, corona, leptospirosis, and Bordetella before being groomed.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Currently I accept cash, check or pay pal.
You offer mobile services, are you ever late?
I do offer scheduled appointments and I do everything I can to arrive at your location as close to your scheduled time as possible. I will call you if there’s a significant delay (more than 5 to 10 Minutes), but please understand that occasionally traffic or an unexpected issue at a prior appointment may cause a delay in my schedule.
What if my dog is scared of the Dremel tool or hair dryer?
We do not force any of these procedures. If they don't like the blow dryer on their face I will only towel dry their face. If they hate the Dremel tool I will just clip their nails with a regular clipper. This is another reason regular grooming appointments is a benefit as I can build trust with your dog and work up to some of these things over time.
Do you do breed specific cuts?
I am able to do breed specific cuts, however this is not my specialty. I do charge a little bit more for the breed specific cut.
My dog has fleas and/or ticks, can you help me?
I do carry a flea and tick shampoo that helps kill fleas & ticks and it provides resistance to infesting insects with results that lasts up to two weeks. I will ask you when I arrive if you are aware of any flea or tick issues. If you are, then I will suggest this shampoo treatment. Sometimes you may not be aware of a flea or tick issue and I will run across it during the grooming process - usually when I am shaving the dog or during the blow drying process - I will give you a call at this point to discuss your options.
Does my dog really need the de-shedding treatment?
Double-coated dogs such as Huskies, Golden Retrievers, Chows, and German Shepherds have two layers of fur, a dense, soft undercoat beneath a coarser outer coat. De-shedding is important for these breeds for many reasons. Some of those reasons are: temperature regulation, mat prevention, skin health, and shedding reduction.
Do you express anal glands?
No I do not express anal glands. There is a risk of injury if this is done improperly or when it is not truly needed so I believe it should be conducted under the supervision of a veterinarian.
My dog is matted, can their coat be saved?
I do not try to save a severely matted coat as it is very hard on your dog to brush out mats. I will only shave down severely matted dogs so they can start with a fresh coat. I do charge a little bit more to shave a severely matted dog.
My dog is aggressive, can they still be groomed?
Since I have a lower stress environment I can often groom more aggressive or reactive dogs as they may not be as aggressive in this environment. I do carry muzzles if it is required for my safety.
Do I tip you?
As with most personalized services, tipping is appropriate if you are happy with the services.
